Inspiration for OCS logo

The human eye can see visible light in seven color wavelength ranges - red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet, also known as the ROYGBIV acronym. We created a logo to represent who we are and what we seek to do where 7 bars represent each of these wavelengths. Our mission and vision of designing and fabricating products that are multifaceted with limitless applications.

It all started when…

Samkol (Sam) and Robert met while working together at a company developing optical lens and filters for aerospace electro-mechnical light push buttons and decided to forge their own way together to provide products that were not currently available in the market and were more cost-efficient. Since their inception as a company, OCS is proud to introduce to the world the trademarked KleArmor™, the patented aerospace electro-mechnical light push button, the RHx switch, KLeGuard®, KLeProtect®, KleHeet and DarkArmor.

Samkol Truong, Co-Founder/President/Project Manager

With over 40 years plus in Aerospace and DOD programs, Sam spearheaded the creation of the RHx switch and led projects in EMI Shielding, contacts and relays. He holds a MSEE Degree and 4 patents.

Robert Helstern, Co-Founder/Principal Investigator

Robert has specialized in electromagnetic spectrum absorption methods and the relative material sciences of polymers for 40+ years in Aerospace and Defense. He was the lead researcher on NVIS countermeasures. He has a BS Degree in Physics and 12 US patents issued, 1 US patent pending, 7 international patents issued and has been featured in 4 publications.

The OCS management team has decades of experience in Aerospace, Defense and Industrial applications. The team has extensive expertise in developing, manufacturing and testing of materials/products that have proven results in a multitude of applications since introduction.
